If material you posted on CinOS was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice, and you believe that happened by mistake or because the material was misidentified, you can send us a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Our Copyright Policy explains what happens next.

A counter-notice is a legal statement made under penalty of perjury, and a copy goes to the person who sent the original notice, including your name, address and telephone number. If you are not sure whether to send one, consider asking a lawyer first.
